Grass Valley EDIUS NX Express Options
The following options (sold separately) are available to enhance your Grass Valley EDIUS NX Express system:

64-bit PCI-X Compatible Version
The original PCI/PCI-X version of EDIUS NX with HD Expansion Kit is still available by request. Please ask your Dealer or System Integrator for details.

Note: The PCI/PCI-X version of the EDIUS NX expansion board does not feature hardware-based MPEG-2/MPEG-4 encoding.

Grass Valley EDIUS Broadcast Upgrade
Grass Valley EDIUS Broadcast is designed to meet the requirements of higher-end broadcast and post-production environments, including support for newer, non-tape forms of video recording and storage. Incorporating all of the realtime editing capabilities and features included with Grass Valley EDIUS Pro NLE software, EDIUS Broadcast also provides additional support for industry-standard equipment and formats including Grass Valley Infinity JPEG 2000, Panasonic DVCPRO® 50, DVCPRO HD, P2, VariCam®, Sony XDCAM® and XDCAM EX.

Note: Due to licensing restrictions, TitleMotion Pro is not included in this upgrade.

EDIUS NX Express 5.25" Bay
This sleek, black, 5.25-inch breakout panel provides EDIUS NX Express users with front-mounted connectors for 4-pin FireWire, S-Video, composite video and unbalanced stereo RCA audio. The package includes all cables for connecting the Bay to the EDIUS NX Express board.

Grass Valley EDIUS Pro Additional Software Licenses
Editors who require the use of the EDIUS Pro editing software on additional editing systems can purchase extra licenses of the software at a reduced price.

Third-party EDIUS Add-ons and Plug-ins
As EDIUS grows in popularity, many companies are providing ancillary software and hardware products. We support the development of third party add-on and plug-in products with the availability of an EDIUS SDK (Software Development Kit), however we cannot guarantee compatibility with every version of each third-party product. For technical support regarding a third-party plug-in, please contact the plug-in manufacturer.
