Canopus DVD InfoEditor is a specially crafted software solution designed to work with DVD media created with the Sony DVO-1000MD medical solution.

DVD InfoEditor is comprised of two utilities, Info Editor and Info Clipper. The Info Editor allows medical staff to review DVO-1000MD DVDs and insert custom notes and messages at specific points during playback, for future reference.

Info Editor controls include 2x playback speed, jog/shuttle controls using the mouse and the ability to jump to specific timecodes, for quick navigation. To prevent accidental data entry, Info Editor's workflow includes a special "Text Edit" function. Monitoring comment changes and status is simplified with the use of a color-coding system - orange for the comment currently being edited, white for previously edited comments and black for comments that have been successfully exported to DVD.

Info Editor


The Info Clipper utility can import video content from multiple DVO-1000MD DVDs for cutting, trimming and reordering of footage, and then re-author and burn to a new DVD disc when run on systems where a DVD burner is present. Additionally, Info Clipper can export any frame of video from a DVD and save it as a still image, ideal for presentations and closer examintation.
